Tour on the life and works of Donatello, the sculptor who "put a peasant on the cross". Who was Donatello? Why did he "put a peasant on the cross"? Why is he one of the most important artists of the Renaissance?
How will the visit take place?
We will start our visit from Piazza degli Uffizi where where Girolamo Torrini gives us a precise representation of the artist. We will see his works that still decorate Piazza della Signoria, the church of Orsanmichele and the bell tower of the Cathedral. We will also discuss the relationship with the great Filippo Brunelleschi and finish our visit inside the Bargello National Museum which houses some of his most important works.
How much does it cost and what does it include?
The cost of the visit is € 90 in total, not per person. In addition to the organization and the official tour guide service, the necessary earphones are included inside the Bargello museum. The museum ticket is not included on which you can find more information here.
The visit will last approximately two hours and the maximum number of participants is 10 people.
